Salzburg Airport has its own motorway connection. It is centrally located at the north-south (D, I) and east-west (H, CZ, D, CH) junction.
Coming from the West Autobahn A1: After the “Flughafen” exit, continue to the AirportCenter / Flughafen junction, then straight over the junction and finally turn left to the parking lots.
Directions from Salzburg city center: From the Neutor via Maxglaner Hauptstraße and then via Innsbrucker Bundesstraße to the airport.

The terminals are close together and can be easily reached on foot.

Bus: The trolleybus No. 2 (travel time: approx. 23 minutes) and the city bus No. 27 (travel time: approx. 38 minutes) run regularly every 10 to 20 minutes between Salzburg main station and Salzburg Airport (travel costs: 2, 50 €). The trolleybus line 10 runs every 10 minutes from the airport to the city center (journey time: approx. 15 minutes, travel costs: € 2.30).

Travel time from the airport to Salzburg main station: approx. 15 to 20 minutes. Taxi rides between the airport and the train station via the motorway are not required.

There is a bank in Terminal 1. Several ATMs are available.

The airport post office (Tel: (0662) 85 68 41) offers its customers classic services such as parcel and letter dispatch as well as EMS consignments (opening times: Mon-Fri 7 a.m. to 7 p.m., Sa 7 a.m. to 1 p.m.).
Free Wi-Fi service for suitably equipped laptops or portable computers is offered in both terminals.
Restaurants, bars and snack bars are available at the airport. There is a bakery. The futuristic Hangar-7 houses a gourmet restaurant.
In the shopping street between the arrival and arrival hall there are several shops with gifts, jewelry, accessories, fashion, newspapers, travel reading materials, tobacco products, souvenirs, wines, snacks and much more. In the departure area there is a travel value and a duty-free shop as well as an additional one Souvenir / snack shop for a wide range of international branded and regional products available.
A lost and found office (tel: (0662) 858 02 59) is located in the arrival area of Terminal 1. In Terminal 1 there is also luggage storage.
There is a children’s corner on the 1st floor in the self-service restaurant “Panorama Market Place”, another in the transit hall, a baby changing room in the generally accessible area and in the transit hall (both on the lower ground floor). Conference and meeting rooms:
The Amadeus Terminal 2 business and conference center (Internet: www.salzburgcb.com/amadeus-terminal-2-en) is located in Terminal 2. It has four fully air-conditioned seminar rooms.

The airport is easily accessible for wheelchair users. Airport staff are available to assist older and disabled travelers. Disabled toilets and washrooms are located in the check-in hall, in the departure hall and in the restaurant area on the 1st floor. You can get there with a wheelchair-accessible elevator. The exact locations are on the building plan.
If help is needed during the trip, this should be stated when booking. The corresponding airline will then take care of services such as luggage service, travel escort, diet food, etc.
The number 2 buses of Salzburger Stadtwerke AG, (Tel: (0662) 440 62 62) between Salzburg Airport and the main train station are equipped to allow easy transport of wheelchairs.
Disabled parking spaces are located in the parking garage, directly at the exits at stairs 2 and 4. These stairwells are equipped with large, wheelchair-accessible lifts. All disabled parking spaces are marked with the international disabled symbol. Further disabled parking spaces are also located at the short-term parking lot P1 parallel to the sidewalk roof.
A total of around 3,290 parking spaces are available at the airport building. Most of the parking spaces are located in the long-term parking spaces in the parking garage. A short, covered path leads from the parking garage to Terminal 1 and Terminal 2. Parking spaces in open spaces: short-term parking spaces P1 and P2 and long-term parking spaces P3 and P7. Every parking space can be reached in 5 minutes on foot from the terminal.
All park tickets are available at the carport cash desk in the arrival hall before departure.
