Em Krützche
The Em Krützche is located in a house from the 16th century and is located directly on the Rhine in Cologne’s old town. Bill Clinton and Tony Blair have already enjoyed regional dishes in the wood-paneled dining room. On the terrace, guests can watch the vibrant life of the old town while dining. The beer garden, on the other hand, is a quiet oasis. The specialties include Rhenish Sauerbraten, Matjesfilets “Kölsche Art” and of course fantastic desserts such as brittle parfait on rhubarb and strawberry compote.

Ox & clover
The Ox & Klee story began in 2010 with sauerkraut and bratwurst on the menu. Today the restaurant is decorated with two Michelin stars. Simplicity is still the focus, but with a strong dash of sophistication. At the surprise menu, guests choose the number of courses and there follows a true journey of discovery for the taste, smell and sense of sight.

Haxenhaus Zum Rheingarten
The 800-year-old house, located in the heart of the old town, is like a beautifully remodeled medieval dining room, in which hearty, Cologne cuisine with specialties such as homemade bratwurst and pork specialties is served. Brewery Sion
In the restaurant of this traditional, wood-paneled brewery, hearty regional specialties such as grated cake and sauerbraten should definitely be tried. The restaurant often serves as a stage for regional musicians. If you are lucky, you will be at the right place at the right time and spend a nice evening with good live music.

Wackes
The long-established, small, cozy and rustic wine bar with checkered tablecloths serves Alsatian and home-style French cuisine and specializes in tarte flambée. The menu also includes dishes such as pork cheeks on root vegetables with Alsatian pasta and pork feet on duck liver with gum berries. Good to know: Potatoes are called grumberries in Alsace.
